Women Empowerment & Education

Islamic Center Information Hub uses “empowerment” in this seminar to mean what the deen actually gives: the right to learn, to own, to be safe from zulm, and to serve the ummah without being told that a degree makes her less of a Muslim or that ignorance makes her more pious.

Speakers — often sisters who teach at Islamic Children Academy or who completed courses at the Center — talk about schooling barriers, early marriage pressure, and how a family can support a girl’s Taleem without abandoning haya. Skill programmes and literacy sit next to tafsir and fiqh of the home.

This is the same vision as our Girls’ Education conference: problems named, solutions that parents can carry out in Madina Colony, not imported scripts that erase the deen. Women and the men who are responsible for them are both invited as announced.
