Tree Plantation Drives

Planting a tree is a sadaqah that continues. Islamic Center Information Hub runs plantation drives on campus and with municipal or neighbourhood partners so Madina Colony and nearby roads gain shade, not only posters about the environment.

Students of ICA often take part so a child learns that “anti-pollution” is a shovel, not a slogan. Aftercare — water, a guard against stray goats — is discussed, not ignored.

These drives sit with our anti-pollution rally. The Center’s environmental work is civic and Islamic at once: the earth is an amanah.
