Bank Management and Security Workshop

Islamic Center Information Hub holds this workshop so students and families in Madina Colony can sit with a bank account, an ATM card, and a phone-banking message without fear or carelessness. Money is an amanah. The sitting explains, in plain language, how to open and use an account, what a passbook and cheque are for, and why a PIN, OTP, or Aadhaar-linked detail is never to be read out to a stranger.

Trainers walk through the frauds that reach Firozabad homes: fake bank calls, QR codes that empty a wallet, “KYC update” links, and people who ask to borrow a card “for five minutes”. Participants practise saying no, locking a card, and telling a parent or the branch at once. Sisters’ batches are arranged so women who manage the household money can ask freely.

The Center’s aim is the same as our other civic workshops: Deen and Duniya together. A believer who can keep a salary, a scholarship, or zakat from being stolen is better able to serve the home. When a batch is announced, youth, parents, and first-time account holders from across the city are welcome.
